Corporate Social Responsibility Statement

At Studio GBM, the trading name of General Business Machines (Limerick) Limited, we believe that a good business is measured by more than the work it produces. As a family business rooted in Limerick since 1967, we have always understood that we are part of a community, and that success carries a responsibility to the people, the city and the environment around us.

This statement sets out how we try to be a responsible business, in how we treat our people, how we source our materials, how we uphold quality and confidentiality, and how we give back to our community.

Our People

Our team is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to being a responsible and supportive employer by:

We hold ourselves and our suppliers to high standards. We are committed to:

  • Providing full traceability on the materials we use
  • Working with trusted partners, in Ireland and across Europe, who share our values

Our clients trust us with their brands, their ideas and, often, their confidential information. We take that trust seriously by:

  • Maintaining high standards of quality across everything we produce
  • Complying with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Protecting the confidentiality of our clients’ work and information

Our Environment

Environmental responsibility runs through how we design, print and produce. In summary, we use FSC-certified papers, vegetable-based low-VOC inks, and closed-loop toner recycling, and we work to reduce waste and avoid single-use plastics throughout our operations.

Our Community

We are proud of our place in Limerick, and we believe in giving back to the city that has supported us for over half a century. We do this by:

  • Supporting local cultural life, including our sponsorship of Culture Night
  • Encouraging staff to give back, through paid volunteering
  • Helping to celebrate and strengthen Limerick’s cultural identity
  • Supporting local causes, events and organisations where we can

For a business that has grown up in Limerick, this is not a box-ticking exercise. It is simply part of who we are.
